In January 2024, the BLANCO UNIT app was launched for Android and iOS. This innovative smartphone application allows users to establish a Bluetooth connection to the BLANCO drink.system, which produces various water options such as pre-tempered or sparkling water in real-time.

The design of the UNIT app was created by the UXD team at studiokurbos. It features a logical structure of user levels and intuitive navigation. The screen design incorporates the distinctive blue of BLANCO's corporate design, establishing a visual connection to the company. The app also includes a manual that clearly explains the installation, maintenance, and usage of the system step by step. In addition to the main functions, such as dispensing cold water, sparkling or still water, the app provides consumption statistics, shows fill levels, and includes animated, interactive guides for cartridge replacement.
